ATTENTION: This note is solely written in English. Translations in Greek may never exist. But it sounds pretty much cooler to say things like these in English. It is a completely different style of writing to address a completely different style of humor. Enjoy!
Have you ever noticed a band on-stage? Not your favorite band live, just a band on a DVD or on the internet. There are some rules every band seem to follow and there aren't a lot of exceptions. I would like to talk about each person being in a band and what he gets while in the band and after some years...
The Singer
The rhythm Guitarist
The Bassist
The Keyboard Player
The Drummer
The Lead Guitarist
I hope I made it easier for you to choose which role you will have in your band and I wish I made it clear enough for you to see which role not to choose. See you next time fellas!!!

The Singer
- He is the frontman of the band
- He gets to speak with the audience like a stand-up comedian
- He can become the face of the band
- He can give his name to the band
- He gets to play every instrument of his choice and for as long as he wants to
The rhythm Guitarist
- He gets to smoke on stage
- He has no difficult parts in a song, so he can play with the crowd in solos
- He is the songwriter for most songs and all hits
- He gets to sing backing vocals
- He can be both a guitarist and a singer, which makes him a complete frontman
The Bassist
- He gets to be the tallest person in the band, even if he is not
- He gets to wear high heel boots
- He can wear what he wants but not being mocked because the singer is always worse-dressed
- He can change his looks without being noticed by anybody
- He can turn down the volume and pretend playing when he forgets his lines
The Keyboard Player
- He can produce any sound he wants
- He is both the romantic pianist or the crazy keyboard player
- He can have a whole set of keyboards or just a two-octave portable synthesizer
- He is in charge for stage-effect buttons, not only the black and white keyboard buttons
- He is credited for much more than just a keyboard player in the albums
- He is the musician who doesn't end with an -ist
The Drummer
- He gets to wear tight shorts and spandex outfits
- He can mosh naturally when drumming, so he doesn't have to multi-task
- He can headband in a sitting position without looking stupid
- He gets to have fans all around him to keep him cool
- He has a lot of bottles of water in reach
- He is the one in the band who gets to wear gloves
The Lead Guitarist
- He is the fattest person in the band, even if he's not
- He can't wear gloves, rings, bracelets etc
- He is not recognizable in lives because he is so much different than the photo shoots
- He has to be careful during solos instead of moshing with the band and the fans
- He could miss the tempo if he moshes because he can hear nothing but a buzz while moshing
- He has to forfeit high heels to control his pedals
- He is the first one to blame if the band breaks up
- He can be a frontman if he wants people to say he had no voice and no skills but just wanted to be the leader-guy
I hope I made it easier for you to choose which role you will have in your band and I wish I made it clear enough for you to see which role not to choose. See you next time fellas!!!
